Products Withdrawn from the Market
The sale of items that are subject to a market withdrawal, generally because they are considered unsafe or defective by authorities or manufacturers, is not allowed on Wallapop.
The following is a non-exhaustive list of items that have been withdrawn from the market and removed from the platform:
- Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones
Products with Legal Restrictions for Consumer Safety
This includes products whose sale or marketing is regulated or restricted by authorities. These include products that pose a risk to consumers and/or do not meet safety standards. These products are not allowed on Wallapop.
The following is a non-exhaustive list of products withdrawn for this reason:
- From September 1, 2024, Child Restraint Systems approved under regulation R44/04 cannot be sold in Spain or regulated markets due to legal updates requiring compliance with the ECE R129/i-Size standard. For more details, refer to the current regulations.
Product Warnings
Some items may not be subject to a formal market withdrawal but, due to certain safety issues related to the item, the manufacturer issues a warning or safety notice to alert consumers of these risks.
Buyers and sellers should exercise caution with items subject to safety warnings.
When manufacturers issue product warnings and notify us, we will include that information below.
