Reviews are done after selling/buying a product on Wallapop. They can be done both from the app and on the Wallapop web.
There are two different review processes depending on whether the transaction has been made through Wallapop or outside Wallapop.
How to rate a transaction made from Wallapop?
We consider a transaction made through Wallapop as a transaction in which the Wallapop Shipping service or the in-person payment using Wallapop has been made.
- Once the buyer selects the All OK or after the 48 hour period to review the product has elapsed, the option to rate the product will appear in the chat for both users.
- Both buyer and seller will have to rate the experience by rating from 1 to 5 stars and allowing to leave a short review.
Ratings will be recorded individually once submitted, even if one of the parties has not completed the evaluation process, and will be visible to all other users.
How to rate a purchase/sale made outside from Wallapop?
When the seller marks the product as sold, a screen will appear where they can select the name of the user to whom they have sold the product and rate them by giving a score of 1 to 5 stars and leaving a brief review. The app will then show the buyer a screen where they can rate their experience with the seller, following the same procedure as the seller.
Ratings will be recorded individually once submitted, even if one of the parties has not completed the evaluation process, and will be visible to all other users.
Remember that if you decline the option to rate, you will not be able to do so later. We recommend that you rate all your transactions as this helps to increase the reliability of our community.
Is it possible to modify reviews?
As a general rule, and in order to maintain trust and transparency on the platform, we keep all our users' ratings published.
For this reason, it won't be possible to modify or delete reviews that other users have posted about you.
If you'd like to modify a review you have left, you can edit it within 30 days of posting by clicking the 'Edit' button next to the review text. (Available on web and from versions 1.130.0 for iOS and 1.302.0 for Android).
If you’re unable to edit the review yourself, you can request that we do it for you via the contact button below. To help us out, we’ll need you to provide the username or the title of the listing you reviewed, along with the new text (150 characters max) and the star rating (from 1 to 5)
How can I choose a product or seller based on ratings?
Now it's much easier to find the information you really need to buy or sell with complete confidence. We've added filtering and sorting options to user profiles so you can customize your experience:
1. Filter by role (Seller or Buyer)
Looking for someone who ships quickly is not the same as looking for someone who pays on time. Now you can separate the reviews:
- Seller: Ideal for checking the quality of their products and their shipping speed.
- Buyer: To find out about their reliability and customer service during the purchase process.
2. Filter by delivery method
Are you meeting in person or would you prefer shipping? Select only reviews for:
- Wallapop Shipping: To see logistics experiences.
- In person (F2F): To find out about the user's punctuality and personal treatment.
3. Sort according to your priorities
You can organize the reviews to see what interests you most first:
- Relevance: Our algorithm shows you the most complete and useful reviews first.
- Date: To see the user's most recent activity.
-
Rating: To filter by the best (or worst) experiences of other users.
At Wallapop, we want you to feel confident before every transaction. By allowing you to filter out reviews that are relevant to your specific case (for example, seeing only “Seller” reviews if you are buying an item), we reduce noise and help you make an informed decision much faster.
Why have some of my reviews disappeared?
We’ve recently corrected the review counter in the profile page to make sure it’s accurate and fair. Find more details in this article.
