We’ve recently corrected the review counter in the profile page to make sure it’s accurate and fair. You might see a lower total number on your profile review counter, but be assured that this is a technical correction and not an error with your account: your written reviews haven’t changed or been removed.
Why has the total number of reviews changed?
Due to a technical error, some reviews related to shipping were counted twice. As a result, the displayed review counter value exceeded the actual number of existing reviews. We've now removed these duplicates from the count, so your total number of reviews displayed on the review counter in your profile matches your actual reviews. This ensures a fair and consistent standard for everyone in the community.
For the vast majority of our users, this correction will result in a small reduction in their total number of reviews within the review counter in their profile page.
However, if you have had a large number of transactions involving shipping, you’re more likely to see a bigger change in the total number of reviews within the review counter in their profile page.
We know that reviews play an important part in building trust within the Wallapop community. We want to reassure you that this correction has not resulted in the deletion of any reviews received.
This correction is part of our ongoing commitment to making Wallapop the most trustworthy place to buy and sell second-hand goods.
