With Wallapop's Locker pick up, you can buy an item from a seller near you and pick it up in a flexible, secure way—without having to meet the other person at a specific time.
Currently this service is available only for purchases and sales within Madrid or Barcelona.
Step-by-Step Guide to Making a Purchase
Purchase the product by clicking the “Buy” button. You must choose:
- The delivery method: Select the “InPost Locker” option and choose the locker on the map where you want the seller to drop off the package (the locker options available on the map will be limited to a area near the seller to ensure a convenient local purchase for both parties).
- Payment method: wallet, credit/debit card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay.
Wait for the seller to confirm the sale. Once the request is accepted, the seller will have all the information needed to leave the package at the selected locker. Remember that, even though this is a local delivery, the seller must properly prepare and package the product before placing it in the locker.
Immediate Delivery Without the Carrier Having to Travel
Since this is a local service in which the carrier does not transport the package, it will not be shipped to any other location. The seller will simply drop it off at the locker you selected, and you can stop by to pick it up from that same locker whenever you want. With no transit time involved, you can pick it up as soon as 1 minute after the seller has dropped it off!
Once you pick it up from the locker and the delivery is confirmed, you have 48 hours to check the condition of the product. After this period, or if you select the “Everything OK” option, the seller will receive the transaction amount in their wallet, and you will no longer be able to file a claim.
Requirements for Using the Pickup Locker Service
To use this delivery option during your purchase, the following conditions must be met:
- Geographic Availability: Both the buyer and the seller must be located in Madrid or Barcelona.
- Proximity: Both must be within a maximum distance of 4 km from each other.
- Product type: The item must be marked as “shippable” by the seller when posting the listing on the platform.
